Mais outro que passava constantemente na Página Um. Com o tempo, nessa época, habituei-me de tal modo ao som que as versões em cd não me soam da mesma maneira.
Assim, a memória auditiva que conservo desse grande disco ( Country Life) é exactamente o da Página Um. Mono e sem alta fidelidade, mas com uma fidelidade inconfundível para os meus ouvidos.
Provavelmente é isso que os puristas do som apreciam nas versões mono dos discos dos Beatles.
Quanto a mim, habituado a ouvi-los em estéreo, prefiro esta modulação.

The cover features two scantily-clad models, Constanze Karoli (reportedly the sister of Can's Michael Karoli) and Eveline Grunwald.
Bryan Ferry met them in Portugal and persuaded them to do the photo shoot as well as to help him with the words to the song "Bitter-Sweet".
Although not credited for their photos they are credited on the lyric sheet for their German translation work.

Nesta formação, Edwin Jobson substitui Brian Eno, e John Gustafson (não está presente na imagem) faz a vez de Graham Simpson (baixista original). E, mesmo assim, os Roxy permanecem esplendorosos!!!
Acrescento que a capa do LP "Country Life", citada no post anterior, foi censurada nos Estados Unidos. As duas meninas (portuguesas?)foram eliminadas da foto, ficando apenas a vegetação...
As meninas eram alemãs e foram encontradas num bar no Algarve num período em que Bryan Ferry se recolheu em Portugal para terminar as letras do disco
